In (lie semi-finals of the Matamata Club's tourney, Oates (Matamata) 23, beat Eraser (Mount Eden) 21, and Livingstone (Matamata) 23, beat Snedden (Carlton) 15. In the final Livingstone 23, beat Gates 17 Green and Crabb successfully defended the challenge for the Eraser Stars of I 1 ran kiln and Plvac (Waikino), the scores being 22 to 13.
