The Paladin—Ada Merlin? filly and Tardy ran four furlongs in 52 2-ss. High Speed was beaten by Sailing Home 'over seven furlongs in 1.35. Pink Xote worked twice round on the plough at three-quarter pace. C'amisader beat Stealth over seven furlongs in 1.32 3-5. ■Royal Saxon, conceding Waving Corn about 101b, finished on even terms with her over six furlongs in 1.18. Money Mine, was going better than Caterpillar at the end of five furlongs in 1.4 4-5. Royal Flower and Barney Google ran seven furlongs in 1.35 3-5. Wig Wag and Meitui ran seven furlongs in 1.32 2-5. The latter was going the better at the finish. Oriflamb ran half a mile in 54 2-ss. Mount Boa and El Boa took 51 2-5s for four furlongs. The former pleased most.
