FOR ALLEGED NEGLIGENCE. SEQUEL TO MOTOR FATALITY. The retrial of William David Weller, charged that he negligently drove a motor vehicle on New North Road on the eve of July 24 and caused the deathof an elderly man named Samuel Leathern,' was begun before Mr. Justice Smith and a jury in the Supreme Court to-day. Mr. V. N. Hubble conducted the case for the Crown and Mr. E. H. Northcroft defended accused. Evidence was led on the lines of that submitted at the trial held at the last sessions.
