AUCKLAND LADIES' CLUB. SUBSCRIPTION RAISED £1 1/. " A decision to raise the annual sub-* cription by £11/ was arrived at at a pecial meeting of the Auckland Ladies' Jolf Club yesterday. The meeting was ield to consider the financial position of he club and its relationship with the Auckland Golf Club, which had notified hat unless the terms of the agreement etween the two clubs were maintained he agreement would be terminated on Jctober 31. Mrs. A. M. Ferguson preided over an attendance of SO members. _ Following an explanation of the posiion by the president considerable disussion took place, but it was eventually ecided to raise the subscription by SI 1/, bringing it to £6 * 6/. The icreri/se will take eit'eet immediately, nd will be added to the subscriptions :>r the coming season. In consequence f the increased subscription it will now e possible to maintain the position of lie club unchanged.
