(By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") CHRISTCHURCH, this day. G., Murray Aynsley has sold the three-year-old filly Stately, by Paladin from Limelight, to an Australian owner, and she will be sent to the Commonwealth by an early steamer. Stately has not done much racing, but she has given promise of developing into a good performer. Nightmarch will leave for Wingatui on Tuesday. His only engagement at the Dunedin Jockey Club's meeting is in the James Hazlett Gold Cup, and he will arrive on the scene in plenty of time fbr the race, which will be run on Saturday. Nightmarch is "in excellent health, and he should be. ready for a good performance at Wingatui. A. McAulay has made, a start on the three yearlings purchased by Mr. A. Louisson at the' Trentham sales. The colt by Hunting Song from Erie has been broken in, and is a very tractable youngster. The colt by Pombal from Waterwings, dam of Agrion, is now being handled, while the brother to Phar Lap by Nightraid . from Entreaty will have his education commenced in a day J. W. Jennings has had his team weakened by a mishap to Nasstori. The daughter of Nassau and Lady Ristori received a knock on the outside of her off hock, which is considerably swollen. A spell will be necessary, and she will be unable to race for some time: The accident ca.me at an inopportune time, as the mare looked like racing well at some of the early meetings. On his return from the Dunedin meeting A. McAulay will make his preparations for the Sydney trip. Nightmarch will be the star of the team, which may also include True Shaft and his recent two-year-old .purchase Knockany (by Nightraid from Killiney).. The lastnamed youngster is getting through useful tasks, but he has not been seriously tried out so far. Rapier has done, a lot of strong work lately, and as he has shown no sign of unsoundness H. Nurse has started to send him along a bit faster. He has been nominated for the Midsummer Handicap and the Craven, Handicap at the Canterbury Jockey Club's summer meeting, and a run in one of those events should assist him in his preparation for important events later in the season. OHINEMURI JOCKEY CLUB. The annual meeting of the Ohinemuri [Jockey Club will be held at Paeroa on March 15 and 17. On the first day the Ohinemuri Cup, of COOsovs, one mile and three furlongs, is the principal attraction, while the St. Patrick's Handicap, of 300 sovs, six furlongs, is next in importance.
