WHANGAREI NOTES.

Mrs. Eric Waters, of Auckland, is visiting lier mother, Mrs. Gillespie. Mrs. and Miss Stevens, of Porowini Avenue, have left Whangarei en route for Matamata, where they intend to reside. Miss Mona Banks, who has been staying with Mrs. 11. F. G. Foote, lvanio Road, has returned to Matangi. Mr. and Mrs. Brviie have returned after tliree weeks' holiday at their seaside Louse at Lang's beach. Mrs. Richard Hosking and family have returned to Whangarei after spending the holidays at Paihia. Mrs. Clark, Auckland, is visiting her niece, Mrs. J. Kichardson, Hunt Street. Mr. and Mrs. Gillett, Wellington, are among the guests at the Settlors' Hotel. Miss Lupton is back in Whangarei after a holiday at Russell. Mrs. G. W. Bennett and ]\Jiss Peggy Northover have returned to Whangarei after six weeks' holiday at Wanganui. Mrs, Fetch and family are holidaying at Paihia. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Malloy and family are staying at Onerahi House. Mrs. Webber, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. Staple, Apirana Avenue. Mr. and Mrs. Lee, Sydney, arc visiting Whangarei, and are staying at the Settlers' Hotel. Mrs. Cooper, 'who lias been the guest of Mrs. Delamore for some weeks, has returned to her home in Hawera. Mr. and Mrs. Lennar, Wellington, arc staying at tli© Settlers' Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Keable are staying at Onerahi House. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Nicholls left Whangarei on Friday to take up their residence in Auckland. Mrs. Cooke and family have returned from a holiday spent at the beach. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Munro, Auckland, are on a visit to Whangarei, and are staying at the Settlers' Hotel. Mrs. A. Walker and family, of Main's Avenue, have returned after spending the holidays at Paihia. Mrs. Blanehard has returned from the Whangarei Heads. Mr. and Mrs. Dixon are staying at Onerahi.
