BOXING IN SYDNEY.
BANTAM TITLE BOUT. (Received 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. At Leichliardt Stadium last night, in a bout for the bantam-weight title over fifteen rounds, Billy McAlister (Sst 51b), the title-holder, outpointed Vic White (7st 11 Jib). The pair met about two months ago when the bout was declared no fight. Last night's exhibition was thrilling. MeAlister outboxed his opponent, who fought very gamely and took considerable punishment in the last five rounds when very tired. White was down foi the count of nine in the last round.
