Sevens Years' Drought Broken in Queensland. WORTH MILLIONS OP POUNDS. '(Received 12 noon. )j SYDNEY, this day. Floods and heavy general rain east from the. Darling River are predicted by the State Meteorologist. The western districts have benefited incalculably in the last two days by the rain. Further downpours are likely to result in the Barwoh River flooding. There is also a cyclone developing about. the central coast. The rain has lifted the outback depression.'.' Huge sums w*U be saved in; fodder alone. _ | The drought has definitely broken in j Western Queensland. Twenty-three stations' have reported rain, where a seven years' drought had been experienced. The: railwaybridge over the Cloncurry River was washed away and; the river is a raging torrent. Graziers say that the;rain is worth millions.
