DOMINION FERTILISER CO. WHARF AT RAVENSBOURNE. (By Telegraph;— Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Friday. The Otago Harbour Board decided to-night to accept the guarantee of the Dominioii Fertiliser Co. that it would put 20,000 tons of material inwards and outwards oyer a wharf at Ravensbourne for a period of five years, if the board under-; took to erect the wharf. The surplus over 20,000 tons in any one. year will be carried to. the credit of the tonnage in the succeeding year. The wharf is estimated to cost £13,500, and the requisite dredging £8000. CHRISTCHURCH GAS. CO. EIGHT PER CENT DIVIDEND. ' (By to "Star.") ; CHRISTCHURCH, this day. ; The 66th annual report of the Christchurch Gas Company statiai that after writiug off £13,385 15/5 for depreciation there remains a balance of £34,435 6/11 available. The directors'recommend payment of a dividend of four per cent which with the interim dividend of four per cent already paid will absorb, £26,919 16/9, and.to carry the balance of £8515 10/2 forward. > The revenue account showed that sales of gas, coke, ; tar, . etc., amounted, to £187,677 12/. 'Material for manufacture of gas and renewal" of plant cost £ 67,561 6/11, wages and fees totalled £52,702 8/11, income tax, insurance, rent, advertising and miscellaneous accounts, £18,587 19/3; interest account, £6705 3/2; bad debts, £208 17/11;. contribution to employees endowment..assurance, £1182 6/6; ciatidn,; £13,385 15/5. These items with the balance of £27,343 13/11 total £187,677 12/. ;
