EXCESSIVE RAINFALL.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, this day. Showery weather continues in this district. The rainfall so far for January totals 5.44 inches, the greatest amount for many years. For the whole of January last year the fall was only 1.05 indies. Heavy rain fell again yesterday.
