'By -Teleprrapl). —Press .Association,), WELLINGTON, Wednesday. ■ While running across" the Hutt Road at Kai warra this- afternoon Joan Haynes, aged about four or five years, was knocked down by a motor lorry. Her skull was fractured and her forehead severely lacerated. Her condition was reported as serious. She had regained consciousness at midnight. .
