GOOD SEASON IN CAMBRIDGE.

NEW DAIRYING RECORDS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CAMBRIDGE, this day. In the matter of production, the present dairying season in this district is proving a most satisfactory one. With copious rains the herds continue to milk exceptionally .well. In support of the foregoing is the experiences of the Cambridge Co-operative Dairy Co. For the season to the end of December the company has advanced a total of £155,290, compared -with £147,260 for the same period in the 1928 season. For the month of December the company will advance on 20th instant £36,200, compared with £34,160 for the corresponding period of the previous season. The company is paying out on a basis of 1/5% for cheese, and 1/4 for butter, against 1/4% and 1/2% respectively last season. Butterfat returns show an increase of 10 per cent in favour of the current season.
