LAUGHED AT PROBATION.
LABOURER Irf TROUBLE. THREE WEEKS' MORE GAOL. Because he had failed to report when serving a term of probation, Charles Ootavian Orlando Giorgi, alias Charles Maurice Collins, a labourer aged 22 years, was sentenced to twenty *ohe days' imprisonment by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at tho Polieo Court this morning. Chief Detective Hammond said that accused had pleaded guilty. Ho had been sentenced to three years for breaking and entering and was discharged by the Prisons Board in October last on proba* tjoii. Ever since his release, from Wei* lington, he had not reported. He had boon working about the Auckland waterfront lately, and had not given any trouble. His term of probation would end in three weeks, but he had dimply laughed at probation. "Why did you not report*" asked Mr. Hunt, "I decided not to," was the reply of tho accused. The S.M, then sent him to Mount Edon for three weeks.
