Shots Fired At Argentinian President. KING GEORGE SENDS MESSAGE. (British Officia'l Wireless.) (Received 1 p.m.) RUGBY, December 27. Kin" George ha»s sent a personal telegfam to President Irigoycn, of the Argentine Republic, warmly congratulating him on his escape from an attempt which was made on his life on Christmas Eve when a man fired a few shots at him. A message lias also been sent by the British Government containing similar congratulations.
