Tliursby was too good for War Officer at. the conclusion of six furlongs, whii'h took 1.22. Corinax and Gnnlight got to the end of six furlcngs in 1.24. Jaloux was timed to cover a rouid in 1.47 2-5, the last six furlongs taking 1.21. He appeared to handle th? l goiug w ell. Hakanoa and Flying Juliet were together at the completion of a round on th's track in 2.0 3-5. Star stranger, Paquito. and Shrewd were out doing pace wark on the same track.
