OFOTIKI CLUB'S MEETING.

LONG PROGRAMME DECIDED,

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.); OPOTIKI, this day, The thirteenth annual race meeting of the Opotiki Motor Cycle Racing Club, which was held at the Opotiki Domain yesterday, was most successful, there being a great crowd despite the counter attractions. Good fields came out for most of the events. There were.only two crashes during the meeting and no one was injured. Both were uninjured, Barker starting again and securing third place. Mercer's machine had its forks damaged. New Zealand Light-weight Championship, for 350 c.c. machines, eight miles.—Tui Morgan (Wellington), 22 h.p. Harley-David-'son, l; S. Roberts (Opotiki), 2g h.p. Bex Acme, 2; A. Harker (Hastings), 2i h.p. Zenith, 3. Time, 7.21. Morgan took the lead in the first lap and gained steadily. After several laps Roberts started to pull up, doing the seventh lap in 50 15s, whicn was the fastest unofficial time of the day. Morgan obviously had speed to spare on a close finish. .
