VALKYRIE AT RUSSELL.

Nineteen days out from Suva, the schooner yacht Valkyrie, owned and commanded by Capt. E. Gilling, of Auckland, arrived at Russell at 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday. From Russell, the Valkyrie is to return to Auckland. The Valkyrie left Auckland on May 20 with a party of guests who intended to spend about six months cruising among the Pacific Islands. She took 34 days to reach Suva, and dismayed by the experience, most of the passengers left her. For several months she lay at Suva, and then left on November 30 to return to Auckland. Rough weather drove her back to Suva, and she did not leave again until December 5.
