Public notice is hereby given that the following Resolution, pnssed at a Special Meeting of the Auckland City Council convened for that purpose, and held on the 10th day of December. 1920. and intended to operate as a Special Order, will come up for confirmation at the Ordinary Meetin? of the Auckland City' Council, to be held on THURSDAY, the 30th dav of January. 1030, in the Council Chamber Town Hall, Auckland, at 7 o'clock p.m., namely :— " That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by The Municipal Corporations Act 1920, The Local Bodies' Loans .Act, 1920, The Local Government Loans Board Act, 192G, The Local Legislation Act, 1929, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council doth hereby, by Special Kesolution intended to operate as a Special Order, resolve to borrow the sum of FIVE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED POUNDS (£5200) for the purpo.se of refunding to the District Fund Account amounts paid therefrom in connection with the redemption of the Grafton Bridge I'onn. which matured on the 27th clay of January 1929, at a rate of Interest not exceeding FIVE POUNDS TEN SHILLINGS (£5 10/) -per centum per annum, for a period of Twenty-six years (26), from the date of the raising of the Loan, and that the security for the said Loan shall be • a Special Rate of One Twenty-fifth (l-25th) of a Id in the £, and that the Auckland City Council pay out of the Loan the costs, charge's and expenses of raising the said Loan, but not the Interest or the Sinking Fund thereon for the first year."
