GISBORNE PORT BUSY.
SHORTAGE OF LABOUR. SOME SCHOOLBOYS EMPLOYED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, this day. Although 200 men were available there was a shortage of labour on the waterfront in Gisborne to-day. Five coastal vessels and a Home liner were loading and discharging. Members of the crew of the vessels and a number of schoolboys were employed to supplement the ordinary labour.
