CARGO WORK HELD UP. DELAY TO SHIPS. Wet weather is delaying all cargo work, and several vessels which were to sail to-dey are delayed. If the weather clears sufficiently for work to be resumed, the Canadian Transporter id expected to finish loading and sail this afternoon for New York, Boston and Halifax. The Port Darwin, which has been discharging general cargo from New York, is to sail for the South this afternoon,. The Moeraki has finished overhaul, but cannot sail for Sydney until the wmthcr clears, to enable her to adjust compasses. In continuation of her Voyage from Montreal, the steamer Parracombe is to sail for Brisbane at daybreak on Saturday. WARSHIPS RETURNED. H.M.s. Dunedin, Veronica and Wakakura returned this morning from the Hauraki Gulf where they hare been doing gunnery practice. They berthed at Devonport. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following vessels are expected to be within range of the Auckland wireless station to-night.—Tofua, Plume, Ventura, Sierra, Tutanekai, Kaponga, Niagara, Malolo, Arracan, Canadian Transporter, Moeraki, Port Darwin, Waipahi. ULIMAROA FOR WELLINGTON. For Wellington, the Huddard-Parker passenger steamer Dlimaroa is to be dispatched from Sydney to-morrow. She is due at Wellington next Tuesday morning, and sails again for Sydney the following Friday. TOFUA AT SUVA. Cabled advice from Suva states that the Union Co.'s passenger steamer Tofua arrive" there from Auckland at 6.30 p.m. yesterday. She is scheduled to leave Suva on Saturday for Tonga and Samoa. THE PORT CAMPBELL. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Campbell, which arrived at Auckland from Liverpool on Sunday last, is to sail at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington to continue discharge. GRETASTON TO SAIL. The steamer Gretaston, which has been discharging phosphate at the King's wharf, is to sail at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Westport to bunker. From Westport she is to return to Ocean Island to load another phosphate cargo. ■ WAIPAHI LEAVES SUVA. On her return voyage to Auckland,' the Union Co.'s steamer Waipahi is to leave Suva at 5 p.m. to-day. She is bringing a cargo of fruit for discharge here, and at Lyttelton and Dunedin. R.M.M.S. AORANGI. From Sydney via Auckland, Suva and Honolulu, the Union.Co.'s R.M.m.s. Aorangi is due at Vancouver to-morrow. She is to leave there again on December 11, arriving at • Auckland on December 30, and at Sydney on January 4. PORT DARWIN SAILS. To continue discharge of her general cargo from New York, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Darwin is to sail this afternoon for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. MOERAKI SAILED. Her overhaul completed, the Union Co.'s steamer Moeraki is to sail this afternoon for Sydney, where she will re-enter the Fiji passenger service, leaving Sydney for Suva on December 13. GOLDEN CROSS COMING. Henderson and Macfarlane, Ltd., have received advice that the O. and O. Line steamer Golden Cross left Lqs Angeles on November 30 with lumber, case oil ana general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington and Lyttelton. She is due here on December 26. MAUNGANUI SAILS TO-MORROW.

Taking passengers, mails and cargo for Sydney, the Union Co.'s steamer Maunganui is to be dispatched from the Central wharf at midnight to-morrow. Also for Sydney, the Marama leaves Wellington to-morrow. Both vessels are due at Sydney next Tuesday, and leave there again the following Friday, the Marama for Auckland and the Maunganui for Wellington. lONIC TO LOAD. To continue Homeward loading, the Shawu Savill and Albion steamer lonic arrived at Napier from Wellington this morning. She is expected to leave Napier at 5 p.m. on Saturday, and is due at Auckland at daybreak on Monday. L. D. Nathan, Ltd., announce her to leave Auckland for Southampton and London on December 11. REPORTED FROM PANAMA. The New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Rimutaka, en route from London and Southampton to Wellington, is reported to have arrived at Colon and sailed from Panama on December 3. She is due at Wellington on December 24. The New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Remuera, which left Napier on November 9 for London and West of England ports, is reported to have arrived at Panama on December 3. Schofleld has been appointed second officer of the Ngatoro. UNION CO.'S STEAMERS. The Kurow sails noon to-morrow for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru and Bluff. She is announced to load -at the latter port about December 17 for Auckland via Timaru and Wellington, omitting Lyttelton. The Karitigi is expected to clear Greymouth to-morrow for Auckland. The Kaimanawa shifted to the Western wharf this morning and later will go to Chelsea to complete discharge. She is to sail on Saturday for Dunedin direct. The Wingatui arrived from the south this morning and berthed at the Prince's wharf. She is to sail at 10 p.m. to-day for Portland to load for Wellington and Lyttelton. The Waipiata Is scheduled to clear Lvttelton this afternoon for Auckland via Wellington. After discharge here, she is to sail about Wednesdey next for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. and returns thence to Auckland via Lyttelton and Wellington.
