WRECK OF NORWICH CITY.
PROBABLY A TOTAL LOSS.
RELIEF VESSELS ARRIVE.

The secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department has received the following advice concerning the Norwich City:— "The Trongate and Lincoln Ellsworth arrived at Gardner Island at 7 a.m. today. The crew were sighted on the beach. The vessel is probably a total loss."
The Norwich City's S.O.S. was picked up by the Apia radio station at l.<>o on Sunday morning, anil later tin: radio operator, was able to niako out the wrecked ship's position. Signals ceascd at 4.40 a.m. The Trongate, in Apia Harbour, got up steam and left at 2 p.m. on Sunday for Gardner: Island. The Lavington Court, another ship, called by wireless, aild ready to help, was allowed to go on her way. .
