Frelish (Wellington), are at the Central Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Mellsop, late of Brents, Ltd., Rotorua, have taken up residence at Kawan Island. Mr. Geo. Baildon, Mayor of Auckland, left for Wellington last evening and will return by the Limited express to-morrow morning. Captain P. J. Foster, marine superintendent for the Union Co., arrived from Wellington by the Limited express this morning. Mr. R. C. McMaster, Mr. E. Anstonibe (Wellington), Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Armstrong (Te Awamutu) are at Hotel Cargen. Mr. J. Cockburn (Otago), Mr. F. C. Hansen (Napier), Mr. F. Swift, Mr. A. McGowan, Mr. and Mrs. J. Malioney (Te Puke) are at the Albert Hotel. Staying at the Commercial Hotel are Mr. E. Cameron, Mr. W. Clark, Mr. F. D. Hain (Thames), Mr. S. B. Sims (Hamilton), Mr. J. J. Smith (Dargaville). Mr. Alexander Edward A. Watkins, of the Public Works Department, Wellington, has been appointed electrical engineer of the Borough of Timaru. There were 40 applicants.— (Press Association.) Sir Henry Holt, of London, arrived by the Maunga'nui yesterday on a health tour of the Dominion, and will spend about a month here. He is at the Grand Hotel. Casey, divisional superintend?nt for North Island railways, and Mr. [j. W. Robertson, locomotive engineer for the North Island, left Auckland for Wellington by the Limited express last evening. They will return to this city on Friday morning. Mr. H. H. Sterling, general manager, S T ew Zealand Railways, will arrive in Auckland from Wellington by " the Limited express on Friday. Mr. Sterling vill visit Waiuku on Friday evening. Viscount and Viscountess Craigavon irrived in Hamilton from Matamata yes;erday afternoon. They will visit the luak'ura State farm to-day. He is staying at the lotel Stonehurst, and will leave for 3eean Inland by the steamer Gretaston in Friday. Mr. H. G. Seccomhe, 8.A., son of Mr. md Mrs. E. H.
