(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. To see his son, whom he believed killed in the Avar, walk into his home after an absence of 18 years, Avas the amazing experience of John Tohill, of Surrey Street, last week. Patrick Tohill was last seen by his parents in 1911, in Canterbury. Upon the outbreak of Avar his four brothers joined up, and three Avere killed. Patrick was debarred by his youth, even tAvo years after the Avar started, but under an assumed name he managed to get away Avith a Canterbury unit. He Avas wounded in France, and also suffered from gas and shell shock. His injuries Avere such as caused frequent lapses of memory, and as a result he Avandered aimlessly around the world. As his parents were unaAvare of his assumed name all efforts to trace him Avere unavailing, and it Avas assumed that he Avas dead.
