NORTH SHORE CLUB.

Possession of the MeCallum trophies was disputed by the North Shore Club. Results :— First Heat. —F. Norris, S. Gardiner, D. Walsh, L. Stead : R. Follas, B. MeCallum, P. Musket. S. Jinks. Xorris led 'throughout and won by two lengths. Second Heat.—E. Korns, C. Oliver, A. Cotes. D. Wrigley; W. Dean, F. Eaton, A. Carlyle, C. Eagles. Dean was quickly oft" the mark and took the lead. In the closing stages Korn challenged and although closing up, Dean won by one and a quarter lengths. Final.—The crews of F. Xorris and W. Dean met in the final. After the first quarter, Dean forged ahead and in a good finish won by three parts of a length.
