BONUS VANISHING.
POLITICIANS PRESSED, REQUESTS FOB DONATIONS. "SOMEONE ELSE WILL BENEFIT." (By Telegraph.-Own Correspondent.) WANGANUI, this day. A member of Parliament, referring to the £100 bonus, states that members, generally speaking, will not be a bit better off, for the reason that various societies have increased their demands for donations. In the member' 3 own case, already he has had scores of letters asking for donations, so that before very long the £100 will be spent, and more with it. "So, after all," he added, "if members do not get the benefit, someone else will."
