FARMER FOUND DEAD.
HEART TROUBLE AND INFLUENZA. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Friday. James Leggett, aged 58 years, a farmer, was found dead in a shed near his home at Te Eapa yesterday afternoon. An inquest was "held to-day before Mr. Wyvem Wilson, P.M. Dr. T. A. Milroy said it was probable that deceased had suffered from heart trouble, and that death was due to degeneration of the muscles of the heart. A life of exposure, hard work and worry tended to produce such a condition. Annie Violet Leggett said her father left a wife and nine children. For some time his health had not been Several months ago he had fallen Ironi a bicycle and strained himself. He had been tossed by a bull six years ago, and recently he had had influenza. ° A verdict was returned that death was caused by heart trouble accelerated by influenza.
