COMPANION CAPTURED.
(Received 10.30 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Known as a desperate criminal and o-aol breaker, John Williams eluded the warders and escaped over the wall of Ballarat gaol. Leonard Bdwen, who essayed to escape with him, was captured when climbing over the wall. Williams has escaped on several previous occasions.
