POKENO, Wednesday. At the annual meeting of the Mangatnwhiri Athletic Club the election of officers resulted as follows-Patron, Mr. A. W. Hall, M.P.; president, Mr. S. J. Mciiroy, vice-presidents, Messrs. C. J. Leathern, vv. Motion and G Lyons; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. or Mcllroy, H. Appleby, J. Darby, l. J. Leathern, G W. Elliott, S J-Woodcock, t? (t Prendergrast, W. Arbuckle, J. nun g». W.SS.!J-Wto. f- s M s"| O °S K. Murray, D. Twining, and S. P. P enc i"_ grast; official handicapper, Mr F. T. Mc Aneny; local handicappers, Messrs. McIlrov and Darby; starter, Mr. Leathern; referee? Mr. Murray; Judges, Messrs. Lyons, pnrkpr Arbuckle and Woodcock. K was decided to hold the next annual cnnrfq meeting on January 11, and to include mounted events in the programme.
