MOSQUITO PEST.
MEASURES OF PRECAUTION - .
Care against the mosquito menace was mentioned at the meeting of the One Tree Hill Road Board last evening. The inspector said that, thinking the pool in the fountain at the foot of Campbell Statue might be a breeding ground for the pest, he had given the caretaker instructions to spray the pool with kerosene. He suggested that all cesspits in the streets should be similarly treated.
