GYMNASIUM AND TRAINING SHED. The application of the Northcote: and Birkenhead Rugby Union Football Club for a site in. Little Shoal Bay reserve for the erection: of. a gymnasium and trainingshed came before the Pirkenhead Borough Council last evening. The suggested location -n-as near the Gas Company's property on the eastern boundary of the .J e ®?: Jliiyor Mr. J. P. McPhail, said the Ivorthrote Council, joint owner of the reserve, had the previous evening expressed willingness to "give a tenure on similar conditions as the Tennis Club. He certainly' thought the 'council should give the -footballers, every facility for their game. • The Little "Shoal Bay committee was to meet next Wednesday On the motion of Mr. W. ±5. Darlow, the application was referred to this 'committee, with power to act.
