FARNWORTH BANKRUPTCY.
ANOTHER ADJOURNMENT. "MOST UNSATISFACTORY POSITION." . "There is no doubt it is a most unsatisfactory position," remarked the Official Assignee (Mr. A. W. Watters) yesterday afternoon at the third adjournment meeting of the creditors ..of Philip F. Farnworth, settler, of Devonport. A further adjournment until December 2 was ordered. By that date all claims-must be entered, and bankrupt was ordered to furnish a full statement of trading operations. The Assignee said it had been stated that £300 would be available if creditors were prepared to recommend an annulment of the bankruptcy. Since the last meeting he had been advised by bankrupt's solicitor that the money was not now available. Mr. Kells Mason, who appeared for Farnworth, said the person Avho offered the money in the first instance no longer held it, but the cash might still be raised on certain securities. . However, he was not prepared to bind himself in writing. An accountant who is investigating Farnworth's financial position, said a full statement would "be available next week. '■;*..
