SACRED RECITAL.
II Anthems, vocal and organ soloe were given in a eacred recital at All Saints' Church, Ponsonby, laet evening. There was a large attendance. In a brief address, the Rev. W. W. Averill, thanked tlie choir ;and assisting artists. The following items were given:—Madame Irene Ajnsley, ."0 Divine Redeemer" and /'Abide ;With Me"; Vise Veda Hutchinson, "Praise Ye the Lord"; Mr. Len Barnes, '"Judge Me, 0 God"; Mr. R. Errington, selections from "The Messiah"; Master ! Arthur McMath; "The Holy Child" ■ (Easthope Mattin). Items by the choir. Dr. Phillips,- organist, Mies Winifred Hill, Miee' Gwenda Weir and Mr. W. Manning were also presented.
