OBITUARY.
; MR. JOSEPH TOOMAN. Mr., Joseph. Tooman, of Princess Street, Otahuliu, whose death occurred on November! 3, : was born in 1878, at Pukekohe> East, where he attended the local .school before taking upifarming. He saw service with the Rifle Brigade in France, Whore he was wounded. On his return to New Zealand, he relinquished his farm, and at tliQ time of his death was employed by the Railways Department. About, six yearß ago he married Miss F! Perrin, of and. he, is survived by his wido>v and two sons. The interment took place at the Otahuhu Public Cemetery, the Rev. Father Wright officiating at the graveside. The funeral was attended by a large number of his o"ld'friends-from Pukekohe East;
