The badminton season is being brought to a close by the St. Matthew's Club with a mixed doubles tournament, the semi-finals of which were played last night Details First Round.—Miss D. Watts and Hawkins (4) beat Miss Hopkins and Watson (5), 5—15,15—7,17 —16 ; Miss Hawkins and Dodd (5) beat Miss Jackson and Cargill (5), 10—15, 15—1, 15—9. Second Round. —Miss Thomas and K. Hopkins (3) beat Miss D. Watt and Hawkins (4), 15—2, 15—2; Miss N. Watts and C. Mallett (3) berft Miss Allnian and Bryant (4), 15—5, 7—15, 18—14; Miss Eastwood and A. Thomas (4) beat Miss Cargill and- Wilkes (2), 7—15, 15—11, 15 —12; Miss Bradley and 11. Porritt (3) beat Miss Hawkins and Dodd (5), 15—6, 5—15, 15—12. Semi-finals. —Miss Thomas and K.
