STABLE AND TRACK NOTES.

SEASON'S FIXTURES. (By WHALEBONE.) November 7. 9—Whangarei R.C. November 9, 11, 13, 16—Canterbury J.C. November K>, IS—Waikato R.C November 20, 21—Winton J.C. November 20. 21—Otaki Maori R.C. November 23—Levin R.C. November 23, 23—Te Kuiti R.C. With two engagements at the Whangarei meeting, Diamond Queen will have a further opportunity to add to her \vinnings. She has been hitting out very freely in her work at Ellerslie, and being a quick beginner, course conditions at Whangarei will be a factor in her favour. The Begum will have an opportunity to make amends for her defeat at Cambridge in the Manaia. Handicap at Whangarei to-morrow. This filly won several sprint races last season, and when she strikes form will be hard to beat on her present handicap. Bombarder has two engagements at Whangarei to-morrow, and track form points to him being hard to beat in whichever race he is started in. J. Williamson is a consistent winner at the country meetings, and he should add to his record before the above fixture is concluded. Since finishing third in the Plumpton Handicap at Avondale, Transformer ran unplaced in the Mitchelson Cup and has not raced since. He is engaged in the Whangarei Cup to-morrow, and if produced in his best condition should put up a creditable showing, although the course may not suit him as well as Borne of the other horses engaged in that race. Although Cynthia. N has done nothing outstanding as far as track work is concerned, she has accomplished plenty of useful work, and looks well. The imported mare will contest the Parahaki Handicap at Whangarei to-morrow, and as the class is not over-strong, she should be a possibility in that event.

Golden Wedding has been shaping particularly well in her recent track work at Ellerslie, while her schooling efforts have also been executed in a satisfactory manner. She is likely to command solid support in the Huanui hurdles at Whangarei to-morrow, in which event it is difficult to select anything to beat her.

Ti Tree, who has previously raced to advantage on the Whangarei course, will make her first appearance this season at the Northern meeting to-morrow. She won the Kia Ora Handicap, one mile, on this track last April, and as she usually races well when fresh should put up a good performance in the Parahaki Handicap to-morrow.

When Gay Cockade ran second to Refresher in the Hobson Handicap at Ellerslie last month his effort was an improvement on anything he had previously shown, and his winning turn may not be far away. He has been doing good track work at Ellerslie during the past few weeks, and if he repeats his Hobson Handicap ruaning, he will be hard to dispose of in the Hikurangi Handicap at Whangarei to-morrow.

As a two-year-old last season, Imperial Prince was only produced on six occasions, and in his last race, at that ase, won the Buckland Handicap at the Franklin meeting. In his firEt run this season he finished third to Eaglet and False Scent in the Avondale Guineas, and if he races up to that form at Whangarei he should be in the firing line at the finish of the Hikurangi Handicap to-morrow.

White Fang was responsible for a brilliant display OTer four furlongs at Riccarton yesterday morning, and the gallop will gain Mm some friends for the Stewards' Handicap next Saturday. White Fang, who is a well-seasoned put up a sterling performance when he won the President's Handicap at Avendale in September, and he can be depended on to run a great race in the big sprint event at Riccarton.
