OBITUARY.
MR. H. P. C. CLARKE. An old resident of Tauranga, Mr. Herbert Pasquale Clear Clarke, died suddenly at Mount Maunganui on November 5. His father owned a large property at Te Wairoa, which was afterwards carried on by his son and is now one of the finest in the Bay of Plenty district. Mr. H. P. C. Clarke bred a number of good race horses at Te Wairoa. Recently he acquirel a farm in the Whareroa district. He is survived by Mrs. Clarke and the following children: Messrs. Clarence Clarke, engineer to the Taranaki County Council; Hector Clarke, of Te Wairoa; and Harold Clarke, of Hamilton.
