ALLEGED FALSE DECLARATION
CHARGE AGAINST PRISONER. Charles Mozart Spinley, aged 45, was charged, at the Police Court this morning, that on January 17 last at Hamilton, being married, he went through the form of marriage with Annie Mary Whelan, falsely stating that he was a bachelor. In obtaining a week's remand, Chief Detective Hammond said Spinley was at present serving a sentence recently imposed on him by the Supreme Court.
