CAR "CONVERSION" CHARGES.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, this day. Arrested last night at an Ormondville hotel, William Stafford Gene Anderson, with several aliases, was remanded this morning to appear in Hastings on a charge of illegally converting a car, the property of Borthwicks, Ltd. There is another charge against accused of converting, at Wanganui, on October 21, a car belonging to John Quirke, of Taihape, and it is understood that other charges are pending.
