Mr. Sunderland, manager of the Australian. League football team, js. progressing satisfactorily from injuries received in an accident. His head injuries are not serious, but doctors advised his remaining in hospital for a few days to facilitate his recovery. Gorman and Armbruster, members of the team, stayed overnight with Mr. Sunderland on Saturday, and Dorgan visited him to-day. Australia's test team is the same as beat Oldham, with O'Demsey, Root, Brogan and Laws as reserves. The team is fit, apart from slight leg injuries to Weissels and Priggs. They are all optimistic.
AUSTRALIAN CRICKET. COLTS' MATCH DRAWN. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY,'this day. The cricket match between Queensland and New South Wales colts resulted in a draw. New South Wales in the first innings made 477 (Allsop 155 not out). Queensland in the second innings lost six wickets for 187 (Goodwin 71).
