TAMAKI GYMKHANA.

« SUCCESS OP CHILD RIDERS. Over sixty ponies took part in a gymkhana held on the East Tamaki sports ground on Saturday afternoon. There was a good attendance of members of the Pakuranga Hunt Club and at the conclusion of the competitions prizes were presented to the successful riders by Lady Lockharfc, an old member of the. Hunt. The programme, comprising sixteen events, was arranged- and carried out by Mr. P. H. Smith, huntsman of the Pakuranga Hunt Club, assisted by Mrs. Smith. The funds were in aid of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Mr. B< H. Bishop was judge, assisted by Mr. H. Bullock Webster, master of fhe hunt, and Mr. John Adams. Music was provided by the Otahuhu Mounted Rifles Band. The cup presented by Mr. It.' D. Neal, secretary of the Pakuranga Hunt Club, foi the champion pony was awarded to Mastei T.
