Clementel Abandons Attempt
To Form Cabinet.
M. TARDIEU CALLED.
LONDON, November 1.
M. Clementel has abandoned his.attempt to form a Ministry in France, as the Eadical Socialists whom he had asked to join it demanded that they should first approve his programme. The Paris correspondent of the "Times" says M. Tardieu, who was Minister of the Interior in M. Briand's Cabinet, has provisionally accepted the task of forming a Cabinet.
