London-Capetown Route Under
Review.
AGREEMENT REACHED

RUGBY, October 30.
Mr. F. Montague, TJnder-Secretary for Air, stated in "the House of Commons that the proposals for the air mail service to Capetown had now been agreed between the various Governments concerned, and a survey party, consisting of representatives of Imperial Airways and Air Ministry officials had left this country for Capetown for the purpose of visiting the countries en route and settling ■ the details of ground organisation in consultation with local officials. He hoped that the service half way to Capetown would be in operation by June, 1930.
