FISHING AND SHOOTING.

THAMES, Monday. At the annual meeting of the Thames Rod and Gun Club the presentations of trophies for last season were made. Dr. J. B. Liggins received the championship medal and Mr. A. McLean the Holman Cup. The report and balance-sheet showed the club to be in a satisfactory position. It was decided that the opening shoot be held next Saturday. The following officers were elected: — Patron. Mr. \V. Bongard; president. Dr. J. B. Liggins; vice-presidents. Mr. A. M. Samuel, M.P., Dr. Sowerby, Messrs. F. S. Miller, A. J. Holman. E. J.
