STRUCK BY MOTOR CAR.
ONEHCJNGA LADY INJURED. ' - - _ .... Last eyeningj about G o'clock, Miss [unter, of Lower Queen Street, Oncjuimga, was caught by a passing motor car as she , was alighting from a stationary tr'amcar. Two traancars were proceeding to Onehunga from the city, and when they were within a few chains of the terminus there,- travelling on a single line, they were met by another car on-its" way to Auckland. As they had-to stop, Miss-'Hunter decided to get off her car, instead of going to the terminus, being almost opposite her holme. While she was in the act of putting her left foot to the ground,-though still holding on'to the iron rod on the car with her right hand, she was caught by a motor car driven by Mr. J. McMillan, insurance,agent, and carried a distance of several yards. Her injuries consisted of <i. severe.: cut on the crown of her head, body bruises and shock. Miss Hunter was attended by Dr. W. Howard Thomas. Her condition this morning was reported to be satisfactory.;
