(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, Thursday. At the Belmont links to-day the Wanganui championship commenced in fine weather, with a strong nortli-westerly in the afternoon. L. Cathro (Castlecliff) headed the list of six-teen qualifying for match play with the best aggregate of 151, with D. C. Collins (Wairarapa), second with 154.
