STAFF DANCE.
The Masonic Hall was gay with pretty frocks and enjoyable music last evening when Messrs. Whiteombe and Tombs' staff held their annual dance. The hall was decorated ia red and gold, and Edgar Bendall's Collegians supplied the dance music. The committee were: Misses B. Cordes, daffodil georgette and silver tiered skirt: T. Hainbly, tioral lame and black georgette; M. Arns, rose coloured satin and tulle; I. Wilshere, leaf green satin and rhinestone; E. Hogg, shot taffeta and skirt of frilled net; I. Steed, duchess blue georgette, frilled skirt. Also present: were Misses F. Dobson, green crepe de chine and gold lace; J. Hill, white chenille georgette; Lewis, blue taffeta; J. Kennedy, blue georgette and silver lace; C. Alexander, blue satin and tulle; D. Wynyard, rose lame and gold taffeta; L. Blake, pink georgette tiered skirt; 2*l. Hardman, moonlight blue satin and silk net; H. Rush, green crepe de chine; J. Kealy, black talieta and lace; Griffin, embossed chenille georgette; C. Hume, green georgette: D. Powell, blue lame and georgette; S. Gilbert, ivory georgette and silver; T. McCrystal, green taffeta and tulle; M. Avery, frock of peach satin; Gill, white satin beaute; 0. Tricklebank, cloth of pold and georgette; P. Conway, black silk lace over daffodil satin; E. Johnston, eau de nil silk net and diamante; T. Hewett, maize crepe de chine; K Fergus, midnight blue lace; L. Ganley, coral- georgette; M. Steen, salmon pink georgette and diamante; I. Chitty, blue taffeta; D. Upson, ciel blue taffeta; D. Chitty, sea green crepe de chine; Hutchinson, champagne crepe de chine; D. Graham, turquoise blue georgette and silver; Phillips, powder blue lame and diamante; K. O'Connor, flame crepe de chine; J. Morris, shell pink tulle; Burns, cameo pink lace; B. Alexander, mimosa lace and green taffeta; Havard, apple green satin, tulle skirt; J. Parker, floral lame and pink georgette; R. Buckley, sky blue taffeta; E. Buckley, pompadour pink georgette and ring velvet; A. Wvlie, pale pink crepe de chine and gold lace; X. Walker, cameo pink and lemon taffeta; A. Blakey, coral georgette; J. Totman, saxe blue satin and georgette; Gamble, black ring velvet; E. Wood, blue chiffon velvet and chenille georgette; K. Reid, cerise georgette and crepe de chine; B. Hill, silver lame, skirt of vari-coloured tulle; D. Oliver, mauve georgette and satin; J. Harding, white georgette and satin; E. Cowan, heliotrope georgette and gold; J. Parker, tinsel lame and pink georgette; K. Bow, green embossed georgette and rhinestone; L. Cooksey, red crepe de chine; B. East, green and gold ninon with handkerchief skirt; R. Thomas, green georgette; Mrs. D. Lyons, lemon georgette; Mrs. McCusker, floral ninon draped skirt; Mrs. Simpson, periwinkle blue taffeta. Frank Easson and Miss Joan Morris gave a very graceful exhibition of the slow foxtrot and quickstep.
