CHRISTCHUECH, this day.

Two sureties, lost the amounts of their bonds, £00. each, when an application by the-Crown' to estreat the bonds was allowed "by Mr. Justice Adams in the Supreme Court. The case concerned a man named Holt, who absconded on August 17 while awaiting trial. The sureties were-Holt's brother-in-law, Mr. H. Harris, and the latter's wife.
