BRIDGE EVENING.
Mrs. F. A. Hellaby, of Kemuera, gave a delightful bridge and social evening to the members and wives of the visiting Chamber of Commerce delegates. The rooms were fragrant with, pink flowers, glowing log fires and pink lights adding an- attractive touch. The hostess received in a rose pink chiffon; Mrs. Paish wore a black crepe fleuri; Mrs. W. Machin, almond green crepe, de-chine, and ecru lace; Mrs. Sedd, black satin; Mrs. A. M. Seaman, black -ring velvet; Mrs. Richards, dove grey georgette; Mrs. P. Crump, black sequinned frock; Mrs. Bowden, floral ring velvet; ■ Mrs. Wright, cherry georgette; Mrs. McGowan, patterned ring velvet; Mrs. E. Smith, pink souple satin; Mrs. Hamilton, black georgette; Mrs. H. S. E. Turner, beige lace over satin; Mrs. Alfred Eady, black georgette embroidered in gold; Mrs. F. Winstone, sequinned georgette; Mrs. Wendall; .black georgette-with rhinestones*
