Choicest salted, New Zealand, 182/ ■ to 184/; Australian, 176/ to 178/. _ Unt salteds very scarce. Nominal quotations: New Zealand and Australian, 185/ to 190/. Che&'ie is steady. New Zealand, 94/ to : 95/. i Amalgamated Dairies, Ltd., have re- • ceived the following cable from their London manager, under date October 10:— ! Butter: Our prices unchanged. Anchor, • 184/ per cwt. Market continues very quiet, : but generally firm. Danish butter now 192/, f.o.b. Cheese: White, 95/; coloured, 94/ per cwt. Market still very quiet. Messrs. Andrew Clement and Sons, Ltd., have received the following cable from ; their London.office, dated 10th mst.:-j-Butter, stagnant, 180/ to 184/. Cheese, 94/. BRADFORD TOPS. A BETTER TONE. The Bradford market is steadier, with the downward movement slightly checked. Slightly more business doing. Sixty-fours, 30V 2 d; sixties, 28V 2 d; fifty-sixes, 25V2d; fifties, 23d; forty-sixes,,2oy 2 d; forties, 19y 2 d. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. A FIRM MARKET. SYDNEY, October 10. At the Sydney wool sales to-day 9618 bales were sold. There was a very firm market. Most of the fleece wools and the best skirtings were about 5 per cent above last week's rates. There was excellent competition. Greasy Merino sold to 18d. AUSTRALIAN PRODUCE. SYDNEY, October 10. The following are to-day's quotations on the Sydney produce market:— Wheat: At country stations, 4/9; ex trucks, Sydney, 5/4. Flour: £13 10/. Pollard and bran: £8. Potatoes: Tasmanian, £23 to £25; Victorian, £23. Onions: £23. Oats: White, 4/10; Algerian, 4/6. Adelaide prices are:—Wheat: 4/10%. Flour: £12 2/. Bran: £6 15/. Pollard: £7. Oats: Algerian, 3/4. (Received 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Wheat, 5/7 per bushel; flour, £12 15/ to £13/; bran, £7 15/; pollard, £7 15/; oats, 4/1 to 4/2; barley, English, nominal; maize, 5/7. LONDON TALLOW MARKET. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, dated October 9:— Tallow.—Prices are nominally unchanged. MELBOURNE HIDES SALES. MELBOURNE, October 10.
