The South' Auckland golf tournament will commence here to-morrow, when a stroke handicap will be played. The first round of the South Auckland championship' and the first round of the St. Andrews match will be played on Friday morning, and the tournament will conclude on Saturday afternoon.

The L.G.TJ. medal handicap match played by the Maungakiekie Ladies' Club at One Tree Hill yesterday resulted as follows:— ■

Johnstone and Mrs. G. Hardlpy, was won, by the latter. The tie in the Junior bogey, between Mrs. E. Miller and Miss E. Hardley, was won by the last-named. A medal handicap match will be held next Tuesday for trophies presented by Miss M Haslett.
